The Little Grass Shack

I get why people call this place a “hidden gem”—it’s literally tucked inside a car dealership, but the space is nice and very open. I also loved the “NO TIPS” (and no cash) policy. I ordered a cheeseburger but got a patty melt by mistake. 😇 The server offered to replace it, but I felt bad saying yes, even though I was really craving that cheeseburger. 🥹 I do wish the menu had prices. It’s not expensive, but still good to know. The patty melt was okay, but it wasn’t for me—the patty was too thick &unsalted, and the cinnamon bread didn’t work for my taste. Should’ve just asked for the correct burger. 😇

It’s a snack shack in a parking lot for employees. Prices not listed. Cost us $26 for two pre made sandwiches without drinks that came off a refrigerator. You are better off going to a vending machine!

Pros: Food (smashburger) and smoothie (Maui) was good. Cons: The restaurant is a bit randomly placed in the middle of three dealerships, there isn’t a designated parking place. Service was ehh but they were also short staffed so I’ll give the benefit of the doubt there. I had to yell my order to the server because she wouldn’t walk to the other end of the bar where I was sitting. When I asked her questions about the menu I couldn’t hear her answers. They didn’t have any grilled chicken.

Found this little gem by accident while traveling through. Located behind Camping World and between the auto dealerships it was not easy to find, but we travel with our small dogs so this was perfect. Patio seating and breakfast and lunch options. Coffees, smoothies, burgers, hummus, salads, fresh chicken salad and tuna salads, and Boar’s Head deli sandwiches. The “smash burgers” were not, just a regular probably 1/3lb burger. I wouldn’t choose that again. No cash and no tipping. Smart marketing strategy for keeping shoppers on property. Very reasonable pricing. We enjoyed our pit-stop.

Hidden gem in West Cocoa! You have to drive onto Eardman Toyota and Nissan Property and it is located between the two.
