The Lil Cafe in Lake Helen

This is the 2nd time we've had breakfast at this adorable Cafe. The food is fresh and cooked right in site, the owner/cook/waitress Jen is a gem and keeps things moving. The variety is enough to find something for everyone. Today we sat outside as the weather was beautiful....there is even a library box outside. Nothing Lil' about this cafe!

My boyfriend and I tried this cafe and loved it. We both got cold brews and the Mullen clubs which come with a bag of chips. Best cold brews we’ve had in a while and the clubs were loaded with meat, so yummy! The staff was very nice too 👍🏻 We will definitely be back. 😊

Great small little cafe, great food made with healthy and fresh ingredients. They have a small hometown feel to this cafe. The lady who served us was so friendly with my children. They also have a great selection of Hershey ice cream with toppings for the kids to enjoy. I recommend this and will return on my way to the airport in the future.

I am from NC. This is the best coffee I have ever had. It’s a very strong cold brew. One large cup lasts me all day with energy. Also the egg salad is fantastic. My husband and I travel to Florida 2 times a year for family and we have been to this place at least 5 times. Owner is the friendliest person you will ever meet. I’ve had different combinations of sandwiches and drinks. Every single one of them was delicious. If you are ever in the area, definitely give this place a try!!! You WILL be addicted.

I’m loving this little gem in Lake Helen! I’ve been visiting more frequently for lunch and I can’t help coming back for more. Looks like it’s my weekly lunch spot! I really love that this is close to work and I don’t have to go all the way to Deland to grab a bite to eat. Atmosphere is great, service is amazing, and the food is wonderful. The Mullen’s Club ALWAYS hits the spot, and I can’t forget to grab some broccoli salad on my way in. Great selection of chips that aren’t basic, cold drinks in the fridge, and smiling faces when you walk in the door. See you all again very soon!
