The Lighthouse Restaurant

The Lighthouse Restaurant was our Lunch stop after visiting the Great Lakes Lore Maritime Museum next door. The dining room is broken into two sections one has no windows and is on the darker side, the other has windows and is better lit with natural lighting. The waitress said Pizza is their specialty and the cheese bread squares we got as an appetizer show that. They were amazing! I had the lighthouse burger. It was a half pound, char grilled patty for only $10.99 including chips and a pickle spear. Definitely a large portion. My wife had the croissant club. Also very large and reasonably priced. The food was cooked perfectly and brought out as ordered. The prices on all of the menu items were surprisingly low priced, especially for what we received. The food was also very goo

We had never visited and did a carryout order. The cheesy bread appetizer was amazing! The personal size pizza was also delicious. Haven't tried the massive Philly sandwich and fries yet, but very generous portion sizes! Great food for the price!

Something just didn't feel right about this place. It didn't feel clean and service was awesome little on the slow side. I ate the buffet and had the roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy with corn. It was okay just not that favorable and tasted bland. This is a beautiful place to visit but I don't recommend this place for a clean atmosphere. There were bugs everywhere around the lemons. The buffet is on the right side of this. Here's the pictures. The beer was also just below room temperature. NOT COLD AT ALL! I will NOT be back!

Must try this place.. food is amazing and worth every penny.. even ordering just their pizza is amazing.. they got something for everyone and a great staff

Pizza is good, but the pulled pork is amazing. The cheese squares are fantastic as well. It's not very expensive, either. We are sure to be back. Edit: we went back for dinner the next night. Service was wonderful, and the food was amazing. Never had battered cauliflower before, but I'm glad I tried it. The pot roast was tender and tasted amazing, the battered shrimp is excellent, and the chicken tenders are good too. Next time we are in the area, we are going again for sure.
