Purple Martin Lakeside Inn & Bird Sanctuary on Lake Huron

Best place to stay! Location is superb. The rooms are cozy and warm. The rooms are very comfortable and private. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The breakfast is the best. Kim, Bonnie and the rest of the team are amazing. Book your trip and stay at the Purple Martin.

We had to stay for three days because we had an event. They made the experience very nice. The staff there was kind and understanding and very helpful. The breakfast was magnificent. I was really glad to have found this place to stay. The views were beautiful off of the balcony, a wonderful view from Lake, Michigan, whether you are on the balcony or down on the main floor, the access to the beach was great. I will definitely return.

A charming historical building, with lots of eclectic decor to make it feel fun and cozy. A great location, right on the water, although a bit chilly in mid-October we still had a lovely walk on the shore. The hospitality was stellar! We would definitely come back again, perhaps in different weather.

Went to Rogers City without any reservations. After having walked around, we found the Purple Martin quite by accident. It was 5:30 on Friday when we called the number on the sign. Bonnie was there is 15 minutes and checked us in. The setting is FABULOUS!!!! we didn't see a third of the things they have. Walking distance to the beach. Lots of lake boats steaming around. breakfast is cooked by Bonnie and delicious. We will be back soon!!!

We loved our stay! We had the place to ourselves on a Sunday evening. Bonnie met us and greeted us warmly. She cooked us a delicious breakfast. We rode the bike trail that was right out front. It was a great time!
