The Lighthouse Boutique Hotel

We only went to the cafe. But the service was excellent, very friendly staff. The various cakes we tried were all very nice. Good place for a quick stop while walking around Port Isabel.

What a pleasant surprise. I love this area during the winter time and staying at this super unique Hotel made my time even more enjoyable. First thing I noticed is that the Hotel is very clean and well maintained. It is located right behind the Historic Lighthouse and near a lot of interesting shops, My room was immaculate and simply, yet tastefully decorated. The hotel is located just minutes from S. Padre Island and near the entrance to the Causeway. I had an opportunity to communicates with Gustavo, the GM here and it is obvious that he cares for his guests and the experience that they have here. I highly recommend this Hotel and I will be back.

Positive: The aesthetics were lovely — a beautifully curated spot perfect for a beachside getaway. Everything from the design to the atmosphere felt intentional and relaxing. Negative: the Keurig wasn’t clean, and housekeeping attempted to enter an hour before checkout with just a brief knock. The main door lock didn’t work, though the interior latch was functional. Could hear a lot from hallway from neighbors. Privacy limiting.

Inquired about hosting an event at this beautiful venue a few months ago. Unfortunately I did not end up booking - but not due to lack of service, quality, or attention to detail - the venue was simply too small for the event. I wanted to recognize the kindness I encountered from Ana, she is truly passionate about what she does. I truly wish I could’ve made the guest list work, the space is breathtaking and carefully curated, as well as the menu. Do not hesitate to contact the lighthouse hotel! They will treat you with respect and answer all of your questions quickly! I assure you you’ll be in great hands if you book a stay or event here!

Was really looking forward for this beautiful place, Entered TUESDAY 2/17/2026 at 4:08pm we walked around the gift shop got a couple of items to buy and were ready to order our coffees at 4:13pm… “Perdon ya no hacemos cafe o comida a esta hora porque ya estamos limpiando es que cerramos a las 5PM” “Sorry we can’t make coffee or food anymore at this time, we are cleaning already because we close at 5PM” We just said ok and payed for the items. Like what???? Almost an hour before closing stop taking orders, no wonder the place was empty. I was hoping everything was nice as it looks…
