This cabin was perfect for my husband and I. The fishing cabin; my husband was excited about the idea of a fishing cabin but was disappointed when we seen the creek, it was dry. The cabin was definitely fishing orientate though. My first thought when I drove up to it was SMALL; but it was decorated amazingly. The best things in life come in small package, like me! I took pictures right away. My husband showed up shortly after with a smile on his face. During our stay it was peaceful, secluded, and hidden. Just what we like. My favorite part of the interior was the bed, it was up in a loft and comfy. One thing about those stairs, they should of widened the steps. I loved the way it was built, cedar log cabin. I am really glad my husband's plan didn't pan out cause I ended up finding The La

We really enjoyed being here and would stay again but not in the particular cabin we were in. The view of the sunset was stunning, the horses let you pet them, the chickens loved following you around, and the cattle would let you touch them as well. It was far enough from town to be out in the open and the quiet but close enough that we could get to town quickly if needed. Our cells didn't work much but for us it wasn't a problem. The cottage was adorable and the bed was so nice. We would sit outside on the small couches to read and it was wonderful. Breakfast was very good (although one day they forgot to give us utensils but I'm sure they would have fixed that if we had mentioned it, by chance I had plastic ones with our gear seeing how camping was on our trip as well so we didn't bother

Cute place at first blush, but well past its prime. Nice setting, beautiful views and you can see the appeal. But it's pretty run down. The outdoor furniture is falling apart. The pots and pans in the kitchen are about 10 years past their usefulness. The toilet barely flushes, with lots of help. The bathroom faucet only has scalding hot water. The Native American decorative themes are pretty overdone. This place is on its last leg.

It was the last night of our "Sisters Weekend" and we stayed at The Last Outpost. We chose the Ranch House, since there were three of us. The house itself, is very nice and plenty big enough for us. Even having just one bathroom was workable. We so enjoyed the large front porch, the horses, cattle and of course...the friendly chickens. We picked up pizza in town and brought it back home and ended up having to share with one of the chickens. She was persistent! :) ||The beds were all very comfy and the breakfast bread and fruit were also good. It was nice to just sit outside at night and listen to the windmill go around. Great time at the Ranch House!

We stayed at the Ranch House at the Last Outpost. The house has two stories, with the living room and kitchen down stairs and the bed room with a king bed and a twin sized bed upstairs. It’s nicely decorated with a taste of Texas cowboys. My husband, daughter and I truly enjoyed the horses, Texas long horns, chickens and little chicks and the beautiful cat on the farm. We turned off our devices and immersed ourselves in the peaceful, quiet and sweet air of the ranch. Joan, the hostess, is very sweet and informative. She even gave my daughter some eggs fresh from the nest! Thank you, Joan! Hopefully, we’ll be back.
