Excellent authentic fresh Italian food!! Complimentary garlic bread knots as seated. Kind and fast service. Less expensive than olive garden and much better food. Recommended!!

I was the first in at 11 am , got seated right away in the ambiance of piano music just relaxing my soul. I got a custom Cesar salad add charred gyro ( which was beyond words ) . The house made Cesar dressing was real , not over powering anchovies or any other ingredient. They came together like a symphony to orchestrate the perfect salad. I do believe this was the best Cesar salad I've had in my 36 years !!!! Then I got the sampler with meat sauce , and upon that tantilizing first bite I immediately felt like family with a sauce that had to have been slow simmered for hours to get that authentic zesty taste that only family could make 🤌🤌🤌🤌. No lie , I was full but the food was so heart warming full of flavor , that I had to get the Baklava , which had those true flaky layers . This place

What a lovely surprised tucked into a tiny town. Food was amazing. Very authentic the three gentlemen running the place, spoke Italian The food was amazing. I would drive 30 miles to visit this place. But I'm 13 hours from home. The prices were more than reasonable. I'd say under priced. We tried several things on the menu, the lasagna, the stuffed mushrooms, and the shrimp tortellini. They brought bread to the table. 😁 very nice. I make bread myself I'm a sourdough baker 😊. I'd give this place A+. Very clean generous portion Fantastic price I could not have asked for better food !! If you're ever in Bandera, you won't be disappointed if you visit ❤️

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pap’s Pizza was fantastic! They made two delicious cheese pizzas to go, and everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. What really stood out was their kindness they stayed open a few minutes late just so we could pick up our order and were extremely nice the entire time. Great food and even better service. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a wonderful gem of a restaurant if you’re looking for great Italian food! I have a food allergy (corn- which is in everything,) but I am able to eat everything they make. Home cooking at its best. My husband and I ordered us each a glass of wine - both different. The owner came over with a recommendation for us and a tasting. We quickly changed our selection and now have a new favorite restaurant and wine! If you are looking for great food, great atmosphere, and attentive staff take a drive out to Hondo - you won’t be disappointed.
