Bandera Tin Star

My wife booked this place for us to stay. It was a really cool little spot that is a little under 2 miles outside of Bandera. The drive to town will literally take you only a few minutes (less than 5-6 minutes) to get there. We stayed in the Forge room. It had two beds and good sized bathroom, tv, microwave, fridge and dresser. The AC is also a heater so that helped during the cool nights we stayed there. There is wifi in the rooms if needed. You can get an Uber to take you into town if you want to but set it up ahead of time because it can get busy. There's an outside area to sit and enjoy the Sunset, have a few drinks and talk with the neighbors. There are a couple fire pits with chairs around them to warm up by. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is visiting Bandera.

We had an amazing time here. The owners are very hospitable and sweet. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean and cozy. It was nice and quiet. A nice escape but close enough to town if you want to go. We would definately stay here again.

I drove from FL to this area to help with Search and rescue, after the floods. Was my first time being in hill country, and this place is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. The room was very cute, with a country feel.

A really nice stay. Thoughtfully appointed, in a rustic cabin style. The beds were comfortable and the linens were fresh and clean. The entire room including the bath were VERY clean and everything worked. No television (a plus!) and a nice patio area with hanging plants and a picnic table where we played some board games and just relaxed. Super quiet. If you are looking for a simple, rustic, but clean and comfortable, this is your place. ||Why only 4 stars? It's in a residential area (where folks have large, country lots) and there is no sign. When we arrived, we were uncomfortable because we weren't sure we were in the right place. A hand-painted address let us know we were, but the gravel entry which takes you to the folks' house and THEN around to the cabins gave us the vibe that we we

The host was very nice and helpful by texting us the directions and turning on our air conditioning before we got there. The room and bathroom was clean and provided all the amenities that we would need. The reason I'm giving them four stars was because there was no TV. This might not bother some people but I enjoy watching some TV before I go to bed or whenever we have any spare time. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.
