My wife and I went here on a rainy Wednesday afternoon around 1:00. Not surprised to see it was dead inside due to the time. We sat at the bar, I ordered a Guinness (a proper 20oz imperial pint) and she had one of their signature mixed drinks the Even Keel. She was ok with her drink but wouldn’t get it again. The bartender seemed friendly and helpful. I tried their smoked buffalo wings and a cup of their chili. My wife had their Rueben Keg Tots. Wings were delicious, smokey with a great tangy sauce but needed to be hotter temp wise. Chili was also really nice but very tomatoey if you are ok with that. My wife enjoyed her tots and said she would get them again. Prices were not cheap for RI but reasonable. Overall nothing blew us away but we will add The Joyce to our restaurant rot
My family and I had heard a lot about this new restaurant in South Kingston. On a very cold winter night, we decided to give it a try. The atmosphere was so very cozy, and gave one a “ Cheers” neighborhood tavern feeling! Our food was brought out in a timely fashion. We were not looking for fancy or high-end food, but this menu was fun and hit the spot! It was just what we were looking for, we were totally made to feel welcomed! This will certainly be on one of our stops for St. Patrick’s Day!🍀🍀
Nice place. Cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Food was very good. A somewhat eclectic menu with creative dishes. The Loaded Tots and the Chilli Nachos were fun and tasty. The Irish Whiskey Chicken was different and exceptionally good. Chicken was tender and the flavor was great. In all, a very good experience and a really nice restaurant. Recommended.
Irish symbols in logo but, no brown sauce. Shepards pie made from minced beef not minced lamb. Calamari tubes only. Frozen Chips! 19 dollar beef burgers overcooked. 11 dollar glass of white wine. 8 dollar irish stout. It is more expensive to eat in a restaurant in Rhode island than it is to eat in Central London in 2025.
Fantastic little pub serving delicious Irish and American food, smoking their own meat outdoors! Everyone at our table, loved their meals. Generous serving sizes, great prices. Home town neighborhood bar with fantastic service. We will definitely go again.
