The Jones House Bed & Breakfast

Beautiful place to visit! If you’re by SFA for any reason, i would definitely give this place a look! Wonderful experience all the way around.

The house is perfectly located for downtown walking to shops and museums. The linens were exquisite "Biltmore Home" which is super quality and there were plenty available for our two-night use. The kitchen was stocked with breakfast items and snacks, and soft drinks/water. No words can describe the interior of this fabulous home as its unique style exceeded our expectations. Since the third bedroom was not occupied, we had the entire house to ourselves and it was as quiet and restful. Cocktails on the veranda made it really seem like home even though the first night was quiet warm. Plenty of parking and any of the three bedrooms would be pleasing. There is one larger more like a suite.

My wife and I took an anniversary trip to Nacogdoches in hopes of seeing the Azaleas at the Ruby Mize Azalea Garden on the Stephen F. Austin university campus. We were disappointed that, in 2018, the second weekend in April was much too late to see them. Most (not all) of the blooms were fully dead but hanging on to the plant. But even with that, we still saw a LOT of beauty in the garden and enjoyed spending a couple of hours there.||||On this kind of trip we generally avoid standard hotels in favor of staying at a bed and breakfast. The Jone House is a BEAUTIFUL old home just 5-6 minutes from the town square and adjacent to a residential area where a number of equally beautiful historic homes can be seen on short walk. We stayed in the Genevieve's Room. It was beautiful, comfortable

Jones House B&B is truly elegant and comfortable. The house is often used for receptions and weddings and would be a wonderful place to have such an event. Rooms large and well-appointed. Coffee makers upstairs and down and fresh fruit and muffins made for a thoughtful breakfast since we were leaving early. Nacogdoches downtown does a good job of highlighting its architecture. We found lots of interesting shops with enthusiastic and interesting owners. Good places to eat close by too.

The Jones House is one of the oldest houses in Nacogdoches, built in 1890. It is so clean and comfortable. Patty made our stay very special. She was very accommodating. This history of this home is fascinating. It is located right in downtown, right next to the Fredonia Hotel, so it is with in walking distance to all the really cool shops and bars. Would definitely recommend!
