The Iron Rail

My wife and I visited The Iron Rail to celebrate her birthday, and overall it was a very solid experience. The ambiance is upbeat with a clear nod to the town’s railroad history, which gives the space real character instead of feeling themed for the sake of it. It was a bit noisy, but we were seated at bar-height tables, which likely contributed to that. Not a dealbreaker—just worth noting. We started with the grilled chicken nachos, and they were done right. The ingredients were layered properly, not dumped on top. Chicken, cheese, tomatoes, and jalapeños were evenly distributed, so every bite actually tasted like nachos instead of plain chips at the bottom. Well executed. On 2/1, we had a cousins’ night out and were introduced to The Iron Rail, and what a great experience it was! The food was top-quality, and the drinks were absolutely delicious. What really put the icing on the cake was our server, Liz “the Wiz.” She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and kept all the cousins laughing the entire time. Her energy and professionalism made the night even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back for more great food and laughs. Thank you, Liz the Wiz! I’ll be making a trip back from North Carolina sooner rather than later just to enjoy the amazing food and the good vibes at The Iron Rail.

Eres was an amazing waitress! Her recommendations for the Perfect Bond Manhattan and Mini Cod Tacos were spot on!! First time here but certainly not out last! Oh and the Iron Rail Nachos were awesome!!

I heard about this place a few times and decided to try it out! Luckily it’s their 4 year anniversary and they made some specials for that date! Eres was my waitress and she explained their special menu including their regular menu. She was very friendly and professional! The staff themselves over all were great as well and made me feel very comfortable! Back to the menu… i got the mini crab cakettes from their special! It was very delicious and just right for me! I highly recommend coming here and giving them a try! You won’t be disappointed
