Homestead Inn

I wanted to take my daughter on a getaway before she gets married in April. We had a wonderful time at the inn. We are Gilmore Girls fans and stayed in the Stars Hollow room, which has decor based on the show and was very comfortable. The inn was the perfect location to explore New Milford and other local small communities. Antonio, the innkeeper, was very welcoming and made sure we were having a great trip. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had and we used the coffee/tea bar often. We definitely want to return.

We just spent a long weekend at the Homestead Inn to experience fall in a Gilmore Girls kinda way and it didn’t disappoint! Antonio is beyond amazing and so incredibly kind! He went out of his way to welcome us, guide us and even help me out in a difficult situation with a rental car issue. He is the reason why this Inn is so special! The town of New Milford is sweet and charming. Everyone we encountered were friendly and welcoming! Highly recommend for a fall getaway weekend! Thank you Antonio for your amazing hospitality!!

My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend at the Homestead Inn. The New Milford/Litchfield area is absolutely beautiful in fall. We stayed in the Kennedy Suite. The room was beautiful and spacious, the bed was very comfortable with a firm mattress and the bathroom features a jacuzzi tub. Breakfasts were delicious, coffee tea and snacks are available 24/7. I have to express my gratitude to Antonio, the manager for going above and beyond when our key fob was missing. He was very caring and helpful during a stressful situation. I would absolutely recommend a stay here and we would love to return someday.

I overnighted here as I had an interview in the area. It’s super quaint for the USA. I also enjoyed a stroll in the town. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was lovely. Being from Europe, I did find it difficult not having shutters to block out the outside lights.

My husband and I stayed for a short weekend visit last weekend. We stayed in the Candlewood room. The room was very nice, very clean and nicely decorated. The Inn is walkable to downtown for shops, lots of restaurants and a movie theater. Staff was so kind and it was great service. We had breakfast there as well and it was delicious!
