The Inn at Onancock

What was my favorite part of my stay? hmmmm. The 1000 thread count ironded sheets? The thick,fluffy bath towels? The wine and hors d'ouvres served nightly at 5; including bacon wrapped apricots and artichoke pinwheel puff pastries? the two course breakfast featuring fruit salad cut in the the most perfect tiny pieces? the coffee outside my room at 730AM each morning? the special dog treats? the great shampoo, conditioner, body lotion in our room? the cleanliness? the size of the rooms? i think my favorite part of my stay was inkeeper Kim's kindness in everthing she did. Cannot recommend enough.

The Inn at Onancock was just what we needed as we drove north toward our home after closing a family home in South Carolina. Kim greeted us with a warm smile and a quick tour of her beautifully restored old inn. She invited us to join her and the other guests for wine and gourmet snacks on the porch at "Wine Down" which worked on us like a charm. The rooms are themed and lovely - the facilities are in perfect working order. And then there's breakfast...! A graciously set table, a colorful, sumptuous meal, and lively conversation with the other guests sent us on our drive toward home. We will definitely stay at the Inn on a next journey to the charming town of Onancock!

We visited Onancock to see old friends and stayed at the Inn at Onancock for 2 nights in November 2025. Kim was our host and made our stay most pleasant! Beginning with a 5 PM wine reception, to which our local friends were also invited, to each breakfast, Kim was gracious and helpful in pointing out the sites of the town. The Inn has such lovely ambiance and an elegant, welcoming atmosphere. We'll be sure to stay here on any return trip to Onancock and highly recommend that you all do so as well!

What a gem of a home hosted by such genuine gems of people! Kim and Matt (and Kira) were such wonderful hosts, from helping make reservations for an adventure to Tangier Island to their wine down hour and incredible breakfasts, they’re the best of hosts and best of people. We had a great stay in the Maine room and made lots of fun memories on the Eastern Shore. Thank you for everything!

The Inn at Onancock is a spectacular B&B! Kim and Matt share a beautiful home-away-from-home -- the decor is charming, the accommodations welcoming and tremendously comfortable, the breakfast scrumptious, and every little touch extra special. In the evening, "wine down" is a wonderful way to celebrate the day with a glass of wine (or tea or cider or beer or whatever), tasty treats, and convivial conversation with the other guests. I look forward to recommending this charming inn with anyone I know planning to visit Eastern Shore.
