Great town, so much history. Mr Tom, the owner, was great company, and his dog is a sweetheart. Very charming house, and the room I had was just the right size for me. Best prices for a B&B in the area, and such a way better experience than a standard hotel. Completely recommend stopping by if your staying the night in the area

Staying a night or two with Thom and Linda as our hosts has been delightful both times we visited their B&B.|Dogs are welcome in their one downstairs guest room. Breakfast made by Thom in the sunny dining room was a tasty and perfect beginning to a new day of travel and exploration. We love traveling the more relaxed eastern shore on our way south to the Carolinas or Florida, and Onancock is a welcoming little town we discovered a few years back. Comfortable bed in a quiet room with friendly, knowledgeable hosts!|

On Sept. 6 & 7, we stayed for our 3rd time over the last 15 years at the Spinning Wheel. Thom Nolan continues to be a great host, an excellent conversationalist, and an inventive cook who produces some delicious breakfasts. He is also skilled in singing and playing Irish music. Our room was very comfortable, and it was on the first floor to accommodate Sonny, our Lab. The inn is located within easy walking distance of nice restaurants, bars, art galleries, the center of town, and the harbor. Onancock (pronounced Oh-NAN-cock) is a charming and relaxing old town. The Spinning Wheel is a gem of Virginia’s Eastern Shore, and we will return on our next trip to Nags Head, NC. Thanks for a wonderful visit, Thom.

We stayed for a week, on our first real vacation since the pandemic began. We were very comfortable and felt at home right away. Thom is so gracious and welcoming, and makes excellent breakfasts! We loved meeting the pup, Aida as well. The week was a good balance between relaxing on the porch and getting out to some beaches and nature trails. The Spinning Wheel is in a convenient location, walking distance to restaurants and the wharf in town, and well situated for exploring other parts of the Eastern Shore. We are already planning to return next spring.

Amazing, homey stay! Thom was the best host. He made sure we were comfortable the whole weekend and whipped up delicious breakfasts both mornings. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and hanging out with the inns pup. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything. Stay here!!
