The Inn at 28

A few weeks ago my car broke down in Cuba New York, and Marlene was super helpful with getting me a room to stay the night! I was super impressed by the Inn, because it is very decorated and cozy. My sleep quality was superb, and I had a lovely breakfast which was prepared by Denise. Overall, my experience was excellent, and I am happy to rate The Inn at 28 five stars! I told my folks about the place, and they intend on staying there on one of their vacation trips :)

Decided to stop along Route 86 rather than plow ahead late afternoon and stumbled upon the Inn at 28, a real gem. Marlene, the proprietor took my reservation as I called from the car and couldn't have been more accommodating. The Inn itself, from the 1850s, was beautifully preserved as was our room. Breakfast was first rate and the location and value could not be beat. Highly recommended.

The rooms are beautiful & cozy- The whole structure and area is like going back to stagecoach times. Some rooms have their own bathrooms. The beds are comfortable &a good view from every room. Walking distance to stores and pizza shops.

I had a lovely stay at the Inn at 28. The room was cozy and cute, the breakfast was fit for a king (eg eggs to order, fresh bread, blueberry bake, maple sausage, yogurt, coffee, juice), and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Was blown away at the value for ~$110 a night. The whole house is very cozy as well, if you're looking for the quintessential country inn experience, this is it. The location was a great base for hitting hiking trails across the area, and the little town of Cuba has some nice food.

Great place! My wife and I stayed here while traveling through NY to the Catskills. Beautiful inn and a charming small town. On the night of arrival, everything was ready for us. The room (Chamberlain Suite) was perfect. We had a great dinner at the Radix on Main St just a block away. Great breakfast as well at the Inn. Marlene and the staff were great with communication and ensuring we had everything we needed. I plan to stay there again next time I’m traveling through!
