Mak's Meats & Cheese

Pass up McDonald’s and get a delicious sandwich at Mak’s! My husband pulled into McDonald’s to get us lunch as it seemed that it was the only restaurant nearby as we were passing through. Thankfully I saw Mak’s on the GPS and walked over. My sandwich ingredients were fresh and it was sooo tasty! They also loaded up my box with lots of chips and a pickle spear. Very reasonably priced for the quantity and quality of food! I was very tempted by all of their yummy looking baked goods and still regret not grabbing a cookie or a brownie. It was also nice to be greeted by kind and friendly staff in the middle of a long drive up from Southern Ohio. A million times better than fast food!

We've been shopping at Mak's for years. There is nothing here you won't love! Homemade desserts and salads, and he has the best steaks! My favorite is the NY strip; a nice big thick cut, blackened! Highly recommended!

Fantastic shop! Custom cuts and superior quality. Many items to choose from. For a relatively small shop, there is a lot to choose from, so take your time and look around. You would be hard pressed to find better meat, reasonably priced, and at a great location. The owners are great and offer amazing service. Easy access off RT 86, so stopping in is worth it.

If you’re looking for lunch off of 86, pass up McDonald’s and stop at this gem! We had a chicken salad wrap and pastrami sandwich. Fresh, big sandwiches, chips, and a pickle at a reasonable price. Thank you!

This place is popular with the locals and I can see why! Delicious lunch specials and hand crafted premium meats, side dishes and more. Kids loved the giant homemade cookies too!
