The Ice Cream Place

Great spot for a quick cold treat on a hot day. Don't expect 31 flavors or anything, but service was friendly and prompt, and the ice cream was delicious. I'd be happy to go back next time I'm in the area. They do have some simple food options in addition to ice cream, shakes, and Italian ice.

Ice cream was good but I took off a star because the portion sizes are a bit on the stingy side.. their ice cream scoop is slightly larger than a melon baller … teeny tiny scoops.. they had an ok selection of ice cream flavors…

Very limited ice cream flavor options .. just 6, and they serve Hershey's ice cream . which is good. The young lady at the order window was very polite and helpful. It's nice that they have an order window since I have my 2 little pups with me. Today was in the low 80s, perfect day to grab some ice cream and grab a bench in the boardwalk across the street and enjoy the water view.

First time visiting the area. We saw on the website they had funnel cakes so we drove 15 minutes for a treat. Walked in greated by two clueless employees who told us they could not serve funnel cakes because the kitchen was flooded with water. Ice cream containers were mostly empty and looked freezer burnt. We walked out and laughed. This pleace is a joke of an establishment. Where is the health inspector for the flooded kitchen they serve food in when its not flooded 🤔 haha. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this joint. I should have read all the bad reviews. 👎

Highly disappointed in this place. Went there with the wife and ordered the Oreo Sunday. They were out of cookies and cream ice cream (I over heard them ask the manager and he was to lazy to get more from the back) and thought they could substitute extra crush Oreos with vanilla (gross by the way). I was standing right there, and they couldn’t ask if I wanted a different kind of ice cream. Additionally I asked for caramel to be added and got none. Lastly, people who ordered their ice cream after us, got it before us. Needless to say, I won’t be going back.
