Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

We always have the best experience here! The staff is always patient, helpful, & courteous.. even when having to supply my husband and daughter 192837 different samples. The sweet treats are always delicious and my favorite part.. they stock & supply sidewalk chalk, for their littlest customers, which provides never ending entertainment and artistic play. It’s a family favorite for sure!

Rita's is a family favorite! Everyone loved their frozen custard. It is so good. I especially like their hot fudge sundaes. Every year we wait until they open for the season. This year we were worries because of Corona virus, but are so thankful they were able to open!

This place is just gross. All I can smell is the grease from McDonald's and Burger King. The parking lot is filthy and so is the front area of Rita's. The staff is super sweet though - seems like high school kids with great attitudes. I did like that part. The Italian ice I got was awful. It's always crowded here so I realized that I'm in the minority with this review, but it's going to be two thumbs down from me. Go to Brrrr instead.

I was about to purchase a Swedish and Blue Raspberry icy and I look while this young girl was making it. I saw her put her hand in my icy and I asked why. she said she was removing a hair as she continued to make it. I asked for my money back and she had an attitude. First that is not hygienic and you put your hands in someone’s ice cream. You should be fired. I am reporting this location to the health department. Why are you removing hair from my food and still trying to give me the same thing. Never in my days at Rita’s have I ever received bad service.

I enjoy coming to this Rita's for a sweet treat, staff always welcomes me with a smile. Fast service and there's tons of treats to chose from. I would a 100% recommend bringing your friends and family! They also provide sidewalk chalk for the kids to draw with. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!
