The Hook Catfish Restaurant

5++ stars for our waitress. We were a large group of 13, 4 from out of state (at least 1 who didn't know what a Hush Puppy was) lots of joking about how to pronounce "sweet tea" and she was charming, efficient, and all-around WONDERFUL! The food was as delicious as promised, especially the fried catfish, hush puppies, and relish (pickled green tomatoes) which the waitress patiently repeated several times that she would bring enough for everyone (our talkative group couldn't hear what was being said from one end of the table to the other).

Misty and the management staff are very friendly here. The catfish, burgers, hush puppies, and fries are pretty good. Ticket was was about 60 bucks most played average 10 - 20 dollars. I highly recommend

Went today for the first time I was so excited, get there order a 3piece with pinto beans and coleslaw and hush puppies the fish was fried to hard and tasted like in old oil, hush puppies also fried to hard , coleslaw was so dry and no taste why? Sweet tea was delicious. I really expected more I'm so disappointed 😞🤢 Yes it was dine in!

I was really excited to try this place out, I haven't had catfish in many years. I was disappointed to discover that nothing on my plate seemed to be cooked with any seasoning. The fish, the chicken strips. the pinto beans. All bland. I did really enjoy the hush puppies though! It was super busy but we had a very sweet server so I have no complaints with the customer service we received. Also, if you have kids...the grilled cheese was really good 😁

Always love going to The Hook, such a great down home family atmosphere. Food was just as great as always, I have been coming for over 8 years and Brandy has always been the BEST! Brandy will make sure to come speak whether we are in her section or not or just picking up a ToGo order, she is such a welcoming spirit to add to a great dining experience!!
