The Honey Baked Ham Company

After many years as a tradition buying a ham we were very disappointed with this year’s quality. After following thawing at room temperature as recommended, the ham has a thick sugary crust that is hard as heck and did not enfuse deep into the meat to neutralize the saltiness. Recently purchased a similar ham from Walmart 2 months ago that was almost similar in taste with same saltiness for a fraction of the price at 35 dollars. The other fact was I never spent 120 dollars for a ham before, seemed very overpriced and don’t recommend due to inflated costs when you can find similar for so much less. Very disappointed and will not return. The photo speaks for itself as per the hard shell sugary crust.

The day before Thanksgiving and you’ve got 1 person working reservations and walk ins. 6 people working pre ordered.. makes perfect sense Then the employees that are doing nothing in preorder, this is the line. And then, if anyone’s standing in line, question, how ridiculous their process was they got yelled at by the employees while the manager just stood there and smirked.

It's been a tradition for us to send Honey Baked Ham gift cards to our kids at Christmas time. All of these years, we've never had an issue, until now. I bought gift cards from this store on Dec 14th in order to get them into the mail for the kids in time for Christmas. I took the Christmas cards containing the gift cards to my local USPS facility to mail out. Five days ago, I found out that one of our kids did not get his card. I filed a report with USPS for the missing piece of mail and called the Honey Baked Ham store thinking, it's lost in the mail, I have a receipt proving my purchase along with the gift card numbers. They should be able to just cancel those cards and issue new ones. The person I spoke to said they could not do that and that I needed to take it up with USPS. I

It’s so nice to be able to order online and pick up my entire thanksgiving meal for my family. Even with the crowds of people waiting for their delicious hams the staff stayed cheerful and organized. My family appreciates the hard work all the staff puts into these holidays making it super easy on everyone else. Thanks for the service with a smile Heather and her team!

Employees are quite obviously miserable. Unfriendly, and downright rude. Disorganized. Unable to prepare any food in a timely manner. Absolute mess at the holidays, no one knows what they're doing. So if you like waiting a very, very long time for very overpriced food and enjoy terrible service, this is your place.
