I visited on a slow day for the restaurant, but I could definitely see if there was a crowd how service could be drastically different. My family and I chose here for my birthday dinner this past weekend, based on the positive reviews we had seen. While the atmosphere was genuinely nice and we were seated immediately, the rest of the evening was a significant letdown. Service was atrocious. After being seated right away, we seemed to have been forgotten. We waited an eternity for our drinks, and the food took over an hour to arrive, despite the restaurant having only one other occupied table. This kind of wait time for such little business is simply unacceptable, especially for a special occasion. The ambiance, though visually pleasant, was ruined by a group of drunk, loud golfers who continuously cursed throughout our dinner. This is not the family-friendly environment one expects. Me and my Fiance decided to come to Brownwood for the day and get away. When we got there we realized just about every local restaurant and store is closed on Monday. So we made our way out to this place near the lake. Didn't realize it was a resort until we got there. We made our way in thinking it would be a country club members only type of place, but we were treated amazingly by the staff. We got a table immediately and Sadie took care of us the whole time, we even got a seat out on the balcony looking over the golf course. Food was fantastic and drinks were great. Prices weren't too horrible for what you get. Highly recommend!

Wow, just wow. The drinks, service , ambience, atmosphere were over the top . Food was delicious, and served piping hot out of the kitchen. That is rare to find a place like that. What a treat Highly recommend.

Gem in Brownwood. Great food, drinks, atmosphere. Will return.
