Best home fries i have had in years and cool vibe...awesome tunes..and friendly staff but prepare yourself for the political onslaught of the far left. I am a middle ground kinda girl so the anti-Trump sign was off putting and not inclusive, but again good breakfast but a little pricey...but still a solid 4 star! I would go again.
Possibly the most extensive vegan brunch menu I've ever come across and the food was so good! (So good that I made a diversion to go back the following day on my drive out of Vermont). Loved the inclusive vibes and the welcoming atmosphere. Next time I'm back over this way I'll definitely be heading back. (Vegan tofu, sausage, pancake sliders?! I mean how could I not want to go back...?!)
This hidden gem in Hartland is amazing! I had breakfast there while on vacation from NY and let me tell you this place is great! Good prices, large portions, friendly staff, and incredible ambiance! Options for vegans or meat lovers make it great for anyone. Yes it is a small spot, but that is a part of its charm!! Can't wait to return for breakfast/brunch!!
Let me begin by saying that I thank Hartland Diner for the joy it has brought to my family. Everytime we pass through Hartland, we joke, "let's get something to eat!" or I threaten to take my son there for his birthday. However, no inside joke is worth this dining experience. Everyone is accurate talking about the high prices. It's the most expensive diner that I've ever been to. The prices seem like satire. They charge by the slice for toast! Not like the fancy avocado toast kind of the thing, where it's a mini sandwich: a piece of dry toast is like $3 or $4 per piece. What most fail to mention is just how bad the food is. Cheap Sysco ingredients like artificial maple flavored sausage or that horrendous liquidified margarine coating their "home fries". That stuff (like for many) is hell
Breakfast place with overpriced food. We got there and had to sit at the counter because all other tables(4 or 5 tables) were full. Sat for 5-10 minutes before someone even looked our way. This is when we got our menus.. we looked over the menu and figured out what we wanted. I thought that because they had us wait so long for the menus, they would be more attentive when it came to ordering. It was like they were avoiding taking the order. I had to grab a person to ask if we could order. The prices were very expensive, in my opinion.. $6 for an 8-oz glass of orange juice poured from a container you would buy at the store. The pancakes were big about 10-12 inch diameter but were $16-25 depending on your choice. For the 2 of us, the bill was $45 for an oj, an english muffin sandwich, a
