Mike's Store and Deli

One of the best kept secrets in Vermont. One of the best beer collections anywhere. Homemade donuts. Excellent homemade sandwiches of all kinds, and the best fried chicken one can find. The staff is great and Mike’s is a meeting place for the whole community.

Have seen employees openly vaping in the back of the deli, food left in their hot cases that have been there for almost five-six hours, and pastries that are left on the rack days after they are supposed to have expired. Obvious the staff here has no real care about the quality of food they put out. Some of the staff seem to get into arguments and swear at each other regularly, especially this one larger gentleman who is usually seen working in the morning behind the deli. Not professional at all, especially when who I am assuming is the store manager does nothing in the moment to make it better or stop it. On top of that the only bathrooms they have are two porta-potties outsides that seem like they never get cleaned or stocked other than when they are switched out for new ones. Especia

Fantastic sandwiches made fast and fresh. I always get the thanksgiving sandwich. Don't forget to grab a slice of pie. Good beer selection too.

Great sandwich! Would come back for another sandwich. Thick, meaty, delicious. Gluten free options too! Service wasn’t friendly, except for one helpful older gentleman. Seriously, I never felt like someone was so upset to take my order for a sandwich. Also, the bathrooms ‘porta potties’ were nasty and out of hand sanitizer.

This is the best stop to go to, The sandwiches are huge and very good also they have some tables out side.
