The Grille at Botanic

I can not say enough about how great this place is. I now see why they are booked up to 60 days out. My wife's birthday just happens to fall the same week as Valentines Day so I'm use to most places being booked. Our dinner plans had fallen through at the location we had planned. On the off chance we came to The Grille at Botanic to see if maybe someone couldn't make their reservation. When I say the staff went about and beyond to get us a table to make her Special Day a success, I mean it! This staff and management is to be commended! The food and service was excellent from beginning to end! We will definitely return and I can't thank you enough! Superb dining experience!

Fine dining restaurant with beautiful scenery! My husband, my mother in law and myself went here for the first time and was amazed how beautiful it was. Everyone was nice and we had a comfy table. The food was delicious and a great portion size for the price. The only issue we had was my husband said his sandwich tasted like it had no flavor but everything else was amazing!

We came for Sunday brunch. The aesthetic is pleasing. We enjoyed where we ate our meal and the facilities in general, but I think that's where the "upscale" stops. Service was alright but very slow and sloppy. When our waitress brought our drinks they were spilling as she passed them out. My biggest complaint is the parking. We made reservations, got there early, and still couldn't find parking. We looked for a spot for 10 minutes and when I finally was just going to have my wife park in the grass they told us we couldnt park there and then had us park in some other non parking spot. This made me frustrated and when I expressed my frustration I was told that the botanic was a place of Peace and Harmony and that if I was going to be upset I wouldn't be welcome back. We celebrated the holidays and a special occasion when are family was in town. The evening was amazing from beginning to end starting with the Birthday Girls name prominently printed on the menu. You can't beat the atmosphere during the holidays. The lighting is exceptional. Our server was top notch and took excellent care of the party of 8. I can't say enough about the food. Absolutely delicious and presentation was perfect. Timing of the courses was perfect.

Service and atmosphere help make a good restaurant but the food has to steal the show. To start with, the homemade bread they brought out was amazing but then it went downhill after that. I got the burger which is ground up ribeye so it was nice and tender but it had no flavor and no seasoning at all. I'd lacked presentation and to be honest it just really wasn't good. And it came with basic fries. The pasta was very bland and didn't have enough seasoning in it. The bread pudding we ordered for dessert was very dry and lacked enough sauce. I really had high hopes for this place but it just really fell short tonight. Maybe I'll try it again but I don't know. For the price you pay, you expect a lot more flavor. a lot. But the atmosphere and service is top notch. I will say Give it a try. M
