Heritage House Lodging & Events

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home. The accommodations were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The owners thought of everything to ensure our comfort, even had coffee in the pot with water all prepped as well as snacks and drinks in the room. We stayed in the carriage suite which had its own entrance and a sitting room which was extremely spacious. The owners were also very helpful with recommendations for local restaurants and shops to visit. We had such a wonderful time we extended our stay. It is so convenient to walk only 5 min to the historic downtown with nice restaurants, bars and shops. We enjoyed cafe 123, Zazoos, and Botanic were top places to eat. Angels antiques was an excellent shop to visit!

The Heritage House is a lovely B&B in an historic home that is clean, quiet, safe and well appointed. It is conveniently located within walking distance to dining and shops in Downtown Opelika. The grounds are lovely too and there is ample parking.

Beautiful historical house in the middle of Opelika, surrounded by many great restaurants and bars. The hosts are very kind and hospitable, they prepare a wonderful breakfast. Complimentary snacks and drinks, the robes and sheets on the bed were very comfortable. The Heritage House is inviting, comfortable and makes you want to spend time in the common areas to appreciate it. I stayed in the only downstairs room, The Carriage Suite, and I plan to return any time I'm in Opelika again.

Leif and Dani not ony made an amazing breakfast they made our Anniversary weekend one to remember. Amazing rooms, great house accommodations, and a great location. We will definitely be back next time in Opelika/Auburn!!!

My husband and I took a quick weekend out of town to escape our busy schedules. While The Heritage House is only an hour from home it felt like we were miles away. The house was beautiful. Furnished perfectly to meet the vintage atmosphere. Many nooks to sit and relax. The room, bathroom, and attached porch were beautiful. Breakfast each morning was a mix of elegance and deliciousness. They were fantastic in accommodating my diet restrictions. Definitely a place I’d return to that was filled with a quiet, laid back, and delightful atmosphere.
