The Grill at River City Restaurant

The mushrooms are FANTASTIC. Would come back simply for those. The waitress was so sweet and helpful. Prices are a bit steep I’d say. We were seated to the left at a booth and it looked a bit off over on that side of the building. Other than that everything was quite nice.

Stopped on our way through Colorado for lunch. The place was beyond busy and there was only 1 waitress (Fate) for our section; she was amazing and went above and beyond to try and meet everyone's needs. Food was decent and so were the prices; mega props to the waitress.

In a small town like Sterling, it can be hard to find more upscale restaurants. The Grill is a nice place with good food. However, it is definitely on the more expensive side, especially when you compare it to the other places in town. So, I would recommend The Grill if you're looking for a nicer place to eat with a good atmosphere and great service AND price doesn't bother you. However, if you just want good food and a good price, you will be disappointed or upset. Know what you want and you'll be happy with ylwaht you get.

This was shockingly disappointing. Had no utensils or napkins for the first 30 minutes. Grumpy and uncaring staff. (The table next to us had to go get their own pitcher of water for the table) Food was basic, similar to fast food. The fries were good. They added a 20% gratuity to our family’s bill. We will never go back.
