My order was a Calzone/ beef & pepperoni w/ mozz... Where's the beef & the pepperoni if I take 1 bite I would've eaten the 2 pieces of pepperoni in my Calzone. They forgot the sauce n my mac/chs. was literally " ice cold". Haven't had take out in over a year, was craving a calzone/ crispy chkn.salad . Im shocked at whatcI received, looks as this was made for a child's menu. This isn't the NORMAL SIZE FILLED CALZONE THAT I'VE ORDERED IN PAST ! When I called to have this rectified, the Mgr. Said he was going to have it remade, but wasnt very pleasant at all,he was sarcastic w/ me that I 4got ( chemo brain)the canzone name. Not empathetic that I have bouts of memory freeze/loss due to my treatments! ** shout out to the Mgr. Slow don't be in a rush to assist your customers. This is a legitimat

For a town of this size, was a very popular plave. Had a dinner with friends here and had efficient and friendly service with "Val", we highly recommend her. The pizza we had was among the top 3 of all pizzas we've had through the years. The macaroni was commented as being fatty, but our friend enjoys it this way. The lasagna was a very filling portion. The garlic bread portion as an appetizer was dainty but very well made with tons of flavor.

8 people had different meals only one was slightly unhappy. But that person kept eating till full. (That was me 😉). The picky eater. Loved the service. Assistant manager Mo and waitress Megan we superb. Helping with everything we needed. Which is more than the average group. This place has an amazing history from the early 1800s through today. The bar back is from the early 1800s and the American stuff is from a recent owner. Ask about the tables. I have no problem recommending or returning. Return trip 10/13/2025 Mo the manager seems to know all his patrons names. I loved the Artichoke dip with cheese bread. 10 guests loved the food. Holoween decorations are Gr8! Very clean place. If you are on North East 76 stop in Sterling. You won't regret it.

This restaurant came recommend by someone living in Sterling who had been there before and liked it. We decided to give S&L a try and it was great. The service was just right and the food was all good. We ordered five different meals and everything came out as expected. We asked the server for recommendations, she made a few, we tried one, and liked it. They didn't mind our special requests and got it right. Even the pasta dishes included one side, which is rare for restaurants. They have a large room available for big groups. It's worth noting the bill mentioned an up-charge would be added for using a credit card (about 3%). So, either bring cash or plan on paying more.

My first time here and Italian is a treat for me. Not sure what happened, but we waited over 45 minutes for our meal and it was lukewarm. The only thing streaming was my sauce. The Alfredo was watery with chunks of cheese and missing ingredients. The waitress was apologetic and discounted one meal 50%. Really disappointed in general, was hoping to find our next go to place when we're in town.
