Finally found my spot in Waynesboro. Brought my wife and son and had a great time. The bread was great and the shrimp po boy was incredible. My son had the smoked pork prime rib and it melted in your mouth. Can wait to go back and try more.

Waited 10 minutes before being greated or even acknowledged. Got the bacon wrapped scallops. 3 small to average-sized scallops. Over done. Chewy. Felt ripped off l because for $28 I'd expect 2 or 3 jumbo scallops, or 4-5 regular sized ones. To add insult to injury, the scallops were very overdone. I tried the alligator bites, and while salty, at least they were battered and fried well and more tender than the scallops. Plating was wet. On the other hand, My date's meal was the fried oysters, and she said they were good, not excellent, but good.

My family was passing through Waynesborough on vacation, and we were blessed to be able to meet up with good friends at The Green Leaf Grill for an awesome dinner. Our server was excellent, and the food was amazing. Everyone in our party, kids and adults enjoyed every bite. The kitchen accommodated our low-carb dietary needs by subbing veggies for rice. The portion sizes were generous.

Why are you reading this? You should be at The Green Leaf Grill! Visiting from out of town and found this gem downtown. Expectations exceeded. I had the Pan Seared Duck Breast with mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans. Exceptional! Great service and great vibe. Live music was tasteful and not overbearing, loud enough to hear over restaurant chatter but not so loud you couldn't have a conversation. Prices were reasonable to boot! Bravo, Mr. Leaf!

My family and I had such a wonderful dining experience here!! The service, the food, the atmosphere, the drinks, it was all absolutely fantastic! They had an exquisite steak and shrimp special that several members of our party ordered and greatly enjoyed! They were also extremely accommodating with more than one food allergy. One of our party had a seafood allergy and one had an onion and garlic allergy and our server was so kind and made sure to double check everything! They were extremely thorough and it made us feel very much at ease since there were several allergies to accommodate. I can not recommend this restaurant enough!
