The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill - Santee, CA

I ordered gyros plate. Consisted of gyros meat, pita bread, tzatziki, Greek salad and fries. Overall good meal. Meat was delicious and tzatziki had a great consistency and flavor. The Greek salad was to me exceptionally good. The ingredients were fresh and the lettuce a nice dark green and crispy. The French fries were, however, stone cold. They were flavorful but nothing beyond room temperature. The overall experience was good. My one suggestion would be more mindful of food temps. The gyros meat was also just barely warm. I am mindful that today is opening day so I will come back in a few weeks and try again to see how things have progressed.

I ordered the falafel pita and it was okay. You may see from the photo that the pita bread was breaking apart upon arrival because they didn’t soften it up enough my warming it up enough. $15 for a meal that wasn’t even filling does not seem worth it to me. For my taste the tomato was too soft, I don’t like it old. I added some Tapatío because it needed a little something for a more exotic taste. I wouldn’t order again, I rather get a burger or tacos for the same price.

I definitely recommend trying on the Greek fast food restaurant the environment is great and food is amazing the staff was very nice and professional I usually don’t try new foods but I was recommended to come here and I actually ended up loving it I’m gonna be back for more. In the picture below I tried the salad with salmon and gyro sandwich with feta fries.

Excellent food and excellent service. We got a meat platter with feta fries and burger with feta fries with one drink for $47. Great food but a little pricey for casual eating.

Amazing food!! Their hummus is the best I have ever had. Very fresh and healthy options! I had the salmon rice bowl!
