The Golden Pancake house Mt Vernon

Don't judge a book by it's cover. Was under construction when we went but pleasantly surprised! Breakfast was VERY good and good portions! French toast with cinnamon bread was just delicious. Husband's omelette and potatoes also very good. Great service with Pablo! Will definitely be back again when we're staying in the area again at Ucamp Express just down the road in Salem, IL (a great place to camp for the night!).

What an amazing place to get some spectacular food to eat! My second time coming here, and it sure won't be my last! Hubby and I got the Ribeye and eggs, and it was absolutely wonderful! Can't recommend this place enough! The waiters and waitresses are so kind and always check in to make sure you are comfortable and got what you need. Parking might be a little hard to find, but if you come early, you should be able to snag a spot!

Nice little spot right off the interstate. Fast service and good food at a reasonable price. I'm happy we tried it. We will be back.

The Golden Pancake House is a local favorite. We frequent this place quite often. Kaili was our server. She was very friendly, attentive, and informative of the menu. My usual is the Ribeye meal. Comes with 2 sides and mushrooms. Highly recommend the spinach soup. New York Strip with eggs breakfast, Crispy hash browns, full of flavor. Hashstack delight topped with eggs and gravy. 5 stars all dayyy 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Wonderful experience! Very cute café and the food is amazing! Service is great as well.
