Sue and I have been enjoying this restaurant for years, and it keeps getting better. My favorite dish, which I get roughly half the time, is the duck. It’s tender and tasty, and practically melts in your mouth. We love the pork belly app, the mushroom bisque, the halibut and the salmon. And the salads are always great. The atmosphere and service always make dinner there a special evening.

Falmouth, in the dead of winter. I was a little worried when I booked a room at an inn way off-season on the Cape, thinking that a good dinner might be hard to come by, but I was mistaken. The Glass Onion in Falmouth had a host of great reviews, and I am happy to add another. It did not disappoint. A snowy Tuesday night (remember off-season), and one would expect that I would be dining nearly alone, but the locals and perhaps visitors (though I cannot imagine who else would be out here at the end of January) were out and enjoying the well-lit atmosphere. Always a good sign. The people working the front were total pros. They were easy-going but knew how to run the room. I watched my waiter navigate a potentially tricky patron with grace. They were attentive enough but not over-the-top, a

An absolutely wonderful experience. A vibe true to definition. They open at 5p sharp. We were welcomed and seated promptly. Our waiter was at our table in the perfect amount of time to bring water and take our drink order. The drinks fun and bright kicked off our dining experience with excitement. Moments later, some beautiful, warm bread with spreadable and well presented butter adorned our table. We ordered the Lobster Pastry appetizer. It was decadent and delicious, not to mention incredibly beautiful. We would have licked the plate if nobody was looking… ;-) Between servings, bus staff quickly and discretely cleared and replaced dirty plates and silver. We felt pampered, as if we were the most important customers in the world. Dinner came and it was everything we had hoped for.

I have dined here on several occasions and its become my favorite restaurant. This evening we were greeted with a warm smile and salutation by the owner (Tally) who escorted us to our table. The atmosphere is elegant yet comfortable and inviting. This was our second visit and I followed our fantastic server (Jeremy's) recommendation. I had the Lobster Strudel appatizer (specialty) and it was amazing followed by The Bisro Steak which was so tender and delicious. For dessert, we wanted something light and went with the house made mint chocolate chip ice cream which was so light and refreshing, we actually ordered a pint to bring home. The other owner (Josh) delivered our salad course, he was friendly and fun asked if we were celebrating anything special and to let him know if there was a

Hubby and I went away to the cape for our 10 year anniversary and picked this restaurant as a special night out. We arrived a little early but they seated us right away in the front glass window which was so cool. It was the old glass so when you looked out it was wavy, loved it. We shared a special salad with apples and cave aged cheddar which was delicious! Hubby ordered the sous vous Fillet and I ordered the lobster and shrimp risotto. We both loved our meals. They brought us out house made mint ice cream and to celebrate our anniversary at no charge and hubby said it was incredible! We really enjoyed our dinner here!
