Inn on the Sound at Falmouth

Can't say enough good things about this bed and breakfast. Excellent inn, great service, awesome breakfast, clean and very comfortable. Great views of the ocean, minutes to the beach. Short drive to shopping and the center of town. Debbie is an excellent host, from recommending area attractions to ensuring you have everything you need to keeping the fireplace going in the front room. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and definitely plan to return. Highly recommended.

After a hectic week of holiday gatherings and helping a family member move out of her apartment, my husband and I decided on a last minute overnight to Falmouth to celebrate New Year's Eve. With sheer luck on our side... "The Inn on the Sound" had availability. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the lovely and hardworking innkeeper, Debbie. (I didn't mention the cozy living room with a roaring fireplace as you enter) She surprised us with a room upgrade and also had us peek into the breakfast room where she had buckets of champagne and a charcuterie board with delectable delights for each room. I could go on and on about how romantic the entire evening was for this lower cape couple but it's best for you to trust me and try this inn for yourself! This was our first time to the Inn on the Sound and we really enjoyed our stay. Debbie was an absolute delight to meet and talk with as were other guests. An unexpected treat was the tray of cheeses & crackers, sweets and Prosecco that Debbie had for each guest for New Year’s Eve. A return visit will definitely be in our plans!

My wife and I have been coming here during the winter for a few years now and I can say with certainty that it’s the best b&b we’ve been to. We are always treated so well here between the wonderful hosts, the delicious food, a great tea selection, the fireplace every evening, and beautifully decorated rooms. The Inn also has lovely views of the water across the street and beaches within walking distance.

I had a house in Falmouth for almost 30 years until last year, and went back over the holidays to see family friends. I had the best stay at The Inn on the Sound. The Waquoit Bay room had a great view, was clean, well-appointed, and the bedding was luxurious. The Inn's 'lobby' sitting rooms were beautifully decorated for the holidays, and belgian waffle breakfast was wonderful. The Inn on the Sound was like home away from home. I hope to be back next year!
