Been wanting to try this place out, finally got to go and I’ll tell you what…expectations exceeded!!! Being from Texas, Cajun food was a staple. THIS IS THE REAL DEAL! I got the sausage link, small gumbo, potato salad and Cajun rice. The smoked sausage is the closest to the style they make in Louisiana and Texas, a rare find in WV. The gumbo is spectacular, along with the Cajun rice. They have me a sample of the potato salad and I instantly ordered a side for the meal. Even the sweet tea was just like home. I’ve finally found a new spot to cure my Cajun food hunger.

Continuing my mission to find the best burger in the tri-state area brings me to this amazing location After seeing nothing but 5 star reviews we definitely had to try it out !! On arrival I was a bit thrown off by the location but we can’t judge a book by its cover !! This place is definitely a gem !! When we walked in we were all greeted by such an amazing bunch of ladies so friendly and giving us detailed descriptions about the menu and even offering sample of there delicious smoked sausages !! Of course I ordered the smash burger tator tots and the homemade gumbo that I was told about . My wife got a great breakfast sandwich and by the way breakfast all day !!! Everything was so delicious right down to the house made southern sweet tea !!! Let me tell u about this buyum sauce !!! They

We dine here often and have no complaints! Everything always tastes great, especially the smash burgers (any topping you can think of) and French toast!! The girls, Sam and Jenn, are amazing… so personable and down to earth! They make the place feel like home and are always having fun. Pence Treats is also DELICIOUS and we’re not a big desserts people but almost always leave with a treat! I recommend this place to anyone and everyone we know.

I had an incredible dining experience at Good Women Restaurant, and it truly delivered authentic Ghanaian flavors done right. The jollof rice was perfectly made — rich in flavor, beautifully balanced, and with an amazing texture that wasn’t mushy or dry. It had just the right level of spice, allowing the depth of the seasoning to shine without overpowering the dish. The chicken was equally impressive: deeply flavorful, well-marinated, and cooked to absolute perfection — tender on the inside with that satisfying finish that shows real care in preparation. The plantains were clearly freshly made, golden and sweet, with that ideal soft-inside, caramelized-outside bite that completes the meal. Every element on the plate tasted intentional and thoughtfully prepared. Beyond the food, the servi
