Elmwood Farm B&B

My husband and I have stayed at Elmwood several times over the last few years, especially over the New Years Eve/New Years Day time period. It's a very peaceful way to say farewell to the busy Christmas season and hello to the New Year! This year we stayed in the Kendle Quarter which I think is our favorite room so far. Very spacious and with modern bathroom amenities but affording a great view of the adorable alpacas as they roam about their day. Lettie and Selena are warm and welcoming and the house always feels like a second home. We look forward to coming every year and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!! This beautiful B&B was one of our stops on our 5-day C&O Canal bike trip. Lettie and her sister took wonderful care of us! Lettie picked us up at the trail and delivered us (with our bikes) to their front door, sharing their story about revitalizing this historic family farmhouse along the way. The house and property is gorgeous. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. And after breakfast Lettie delivered us back to the trail to continue on our journey. We hope you have an opportunity to visit this special place.

Lettie and Selina are friendly people that make you feel at home. Selina makes a hearty, tasty breakfasts from scratch. Absolutely loved her crapes. We stayed in the basement room, Soldier's Retreat, that was roomy, and accesable from the patio outside. The mattress was extremely comfy, and liked the pillows so much I purchased one in their little store on the grounds. They are located outside the city in a quiet location, but only a few minutes from Antietam Battlefield, Hagarstown and Williamsport. If we come back to this area, we will stay here again.

Beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Elmwood Farm for a wedding. Ceremony outside, reception in the refurbished barn. For an event or just a getaway, you'll love it!

Elmwood Farms is the perfect venue for any event! Our company hosted our Summer Picnic here, and the attention to detail in the preparation was incredible. Everyone had a fantastic time, and we’re already looking forward to returning! Also, some of our guests had the chance to stay overnight at the Inn, and the rooms were incredibly comfortable. The peaceful, restful sleep we enjoyed there was something we truly missed once we returned home!
