The Ginger Bed

This place is immaculate! We had a very comfortable stay. It is modern, clean and well maintained with lovely decorations. The bed was super comfy. We love the breakfast area where we had coffee and snacks. Good size fridge, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle and toaster are provided. Bathroom was nice, but be careful the wooden floor in bedroom is a bit slippery if you’re wearing socks. The area is very quiet and peaceful we can hear birds chirping in the morning. A good choice for our stopover in Ashburnham.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this wonderful B&B for one night, although we wish it was longer, when we came for Hillfest. What a great getaway. Quiet, private, spacious, comfortable and nicely updated. Good old country charm. We would stay here again for sure. Laura and Michael were very accommodating with our request for and early checkin so we could get to Hillfest on time.

My wife and I stayed here one night and had a great experience. The home has a rustic feel but has modern conveniences and is in pristine condition. The location is perfect: walking distance to the town center, but located on the edge of a natural area full of trees and ponds, and very quiet. The hosts were friendly and helpful and the provided snacks were healthy and tasty. We highly recommend staying here.

While our room was spacious and the pillows reasonably comfortable, I was glad I don't live far away because I had to go home to shower. The bathtub is impossible to get into if you have any kind of leg/knee/ankle issue, and doesn't allow for baths at all. The view of the tub appeared to be obscured when we looked at photos of the facility. Very disappointing. Also, there was no TV!
