Customer Reviews
Today we were on a mission to make Christmas magical for the kids! We went all over the area and headed over to Fremont to see Santa for a quick visit then lunch at The Garrison. The lunch was fabulous. My first time with the kids and my boyfriend’s been many times. French onion soup was wonderful. It was decorated simple and classic for the holidays. Service was great! Check it out with or without kids! Great kids menu as well and super fair priced. He loved the Elk burger.
Great experience!! Brussel sprouts appetizer was excellent. They were fried and they came with a flavorable honey hot sauce. I ordered the brisket tacos they were excellent and my husband ordered the Lil' Betsy. We both agreed everything was excellent .
Stopped in for a lunch on a weekday. The place has a clean industrial vibe atmosphere. Definitely try Beth's Bite tequila cocktail. It was a crisp and refreshing accompaniment to my meal. Sauerkraut bites were fantastic! Golden and crispy on the outside while soft and moist on the inside. My salmon was great. The waitress said the chef recommends it at a medium well, and while I was hesitant and worried it may be over cooked it wasn't. The rice it came with was a bit on the salty side, but it balanced out with the salmon and veggies when I would do a bite of everything. My hubby ordered the fish and chips and while he enjoyed it, he said the batter was a bit too thick and the homemade tartar sauce didn't quite do it for him. I think we'd stop by again and try more of the menu next time we
We had the Schnitzel, German potato salad, with a mixed vegetable, the saurkraut and sausage and crispy potatos. The potato salad was homemade as was the saurkraut. The food was hot and delicious. Our server Sarah, was extremely attentive and friendly. The restaurant is a remodeled older building with an upstairs and outdoor eating area. Very nice. 5 stars on everything.
Usually love this place. Chili has no meat, has tortilla chips very odd on chili and dislike and crackers are stale. Told waitress and she just ignored the compliment and went on to do a drink for another customer. Never had an issue like this before and have spent alot of expensive meals here. Probably spent thousands over the years.
