The Galley

So great to have another dining option on the island. This is our 2nd visit and every food item was delicious! We ate 3 different sandwiches, tomato soup, and potato salad... all yummy!

We popped in expecting something simple and casual — soup, sandwiches, maybe a quick bite — and instead got a little slice of roadside heaven. Between the four of us, we tried the grilled cheese, Cubano, roast beef, and caprese… and not one bite disappointed. In fact, we all kept trading halves just to experience the magic of each one. (That Pickle? Come on. So good.) It was a lovely place and way to end after a hike. The sandwiches we delicious and warm. The tomato soup was delicious, they have a strong grasp on the nuance of making a tomato soup ✨ There was a bit left to be desired drinking from a plastic cup, it seems the quality of the sandwich begets glass drinkware. I didn't have an issue but my compatriots required I mention it. I had the Toast Beef, it was wonderful. The bread was perfectly tosted and not too rigid. The roast beef I believe was made in house and perfect, in my opinion. 10/10 would return, thank you!

We have been lucky enough to visit multiple times. All the sandwiches are great but the family favorite is The Whirly Bird. Very quick service which is lovely when you are waiting for a ferry. Will be back for sure!

Fantastic place for sandwiches. Great atmosphere and wonderful owners. Loved the Swashbuckler sandwich, and tried just about every other sandwich on the menu.
