Lummi Island Beach Access

The top landing at street level is nice and the metal stairs down are excellent. My dog was a bit leary since they are perforated metal, but once I started down she had no problems with them. Great view from the deck with picnic tables and fun to watch the ferry and the water. The "beach" itself is a lot of big interesting rocks with course pebbles, etc. between. It is very slippery so be careful about walking on the vegetation. Due to the private property on each side parking is limited. It is a very small "beach" which should have signage to give a clear representation of the boundaries. Don't mess around with or under the beach cabins. They and the beach in front of them are Private Property. Was out there today during a -3' tide. Very interesting rock formations and vegetation nor
