The Gallery Inn

We stayed at the Gallery Inn for two weeks and loved it! It's a great apartment -- lots of room for two, really nice kitchen, air conditioning, fun art on all the walls. Loved the quiet, charming neighborhood. And it's a fantastic location for day trips in the Hudson Valley. Everything we wanted to see was within a 30-minute drive. Can't recommend it highly enough!

Fantastic. A lovely place that is well kept and charming. Nancy, the owner, is wonderful! She decorated the apartment we stayed at with so much lovely artwork and thought of every little thing to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommended. ! We will be back !

What fun! The Gallery Inn is an apartment above a gallery space in Kingston...right up the road from the river. The space has EVERYTHING you need, was comfy and cozy while providing a kitchen as well. We stayed for two nights, enjoyed the wine... and the great shower. The stairs leading up are STEEP [husband just had hip surgery], but it worked out. Just so you know if you have to lug heavy bags upstairs [we didn't]. The AC is a little noisy, as well as some street traffic, but really - not a complaint, just to let you know.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gallery Inn in Kingston, NY. It was more like staying at a friend's clean and bright cozy apartment. Within walking distance of all the attractions and restaurants in the historic Rondout waterfront. It was great to be able to sleep in and make breakfast for ourselves in the full kitchen. The Inn's owner, Nancy Donskoj, is super friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable of the entire city of Kingston and its history.

Quick, find a reason to go to Kingston, just to stay here!!!! The apt is lovely, clean, beautiful bedding, and spiffy rooms. The owner is very accommodating without being invasive. Location is excellent. The Maritime Museum is a must-see and restaurants are all walkable. Very hip. Thank you.
