Sweet Maresa’s

Back in October, my husband and I stopped into this wonderful bakery on our upstate honeymoon trip because the door was open and you could smell cinnamon cookies baking from down the block. The staff was incredibly sweet and we bought at least a dozen of their cookies, which were all amazing (additional shoutout for having gluten free options!) but I also impulsively bought a box of macarons. I am writing this review 2+ months later because still think about their Earl Grey macaron ALL THE TIME. THIS WAS TWO MONTHS AGO and the Earl Grey macaron haunts me in the best way possible. (All of the other macarons were delicious too!)

Woweeeeee. I truly believe this is the best bakery in the entire USA. Everything is DIVINE. I love all the fun different flavor ideas. The macarons are seriously unbelievably good. Vegan or not, this is your new favorite spot. Thanks for making our day trip to this town for the Polar Express train ride the highlight! Can’t wait to visit again.

I love love love this bakery. There is always something new to choose from and often times with unexpected/fun flavors. The quality is top tier and you can tell a lot of care goes into each item. Don't sleep on sweet maresa's!

Sweet Maresa's is one of my FAVORITE places in the Kingston area. 💕 Not only is Maresa truly one of the sweetest people you may ever meet...her tasty creations (cookies, cakes, cupcakes, and more) are also some of the best baked goods around, in my humble opinion. The atmosphere of her bakery, and store, are lovely. The sweet smell of all the tasty treats wafting through the air feels like you walked into a little slice of Heaven. ✨ Oh ...and the Chai...it's THE best I've ever had!

We stumbled upon this place while we were visiting the area and we were so happy that we did. They had such a unique selection to choose from. Our favorites were the strawberry rhubarb thumbprint cookie and the kids loved the s’mores cookie. We also tried the earl grey lavender Oreo and the Rose Water Lemonade which were also wonderful. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating.
