The Froggy Dog

I had the Hawaiian tenderloin with Jasmine rice. It was tasty. My husband had fried shrimp/FF and he enjoyed it. My daughter had the steak and FF which she said was fantastic. My cousin and my best friend had boiled shrimp. They said it was overcooked. The atmosphere is 🔥. The waitress was phenomenal and kept the party going. 🤣 🎂 🥳 🎉. We will definitely go back.

Absolutely amazing place .it’s a fun spot sitting in Avon with some of the best food I’ve eaten in years. Everything that was served to me was perfect. Even the delivery of food was on time ,made for a wonderful dining experience. My surf and turf was perfectly cooked. My crabcake was excellent. The appetizers were overwhelming. My wife’s seafood platter was top-notch everything in this restaurant seem to be fresh homemade even the desserts absolutely a wonderful head chef hiding somewhere back there doing this. This doesn’t just happen by circumstance good leadership, quality, food, quality, atmosphere quality servers

Lixa, our waitress ROCKS! She was very attentative and went above and beyond to make our Valentine's dinner enjoyable. The wife had Fillet that was awesome. I had stuffed Flounder that was the best I have had. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the OBX!

We came to the Froggy Dog on our last night on vacation and we were very impressed. By far our favorite dining experience here. The steak was cooked perfectly, the mashed potatoes were absolutely to die for. Drinks were reasonably priced and yummy. Service was top tier. We definitely would recommend!

I had a wonderful experience here. The fish dishes were very delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service was also great. Our server, Nan, was very kind, attentive, and made us feel welcome. I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely come back again.
