Pangea Tavern

We had a good time with our dog there! (They allow dogs in the outdoor area) I ordered a salad which was HUGE and I added extra VEGAN protein which was Vegan “chicken” and I must say that it was AMAZING! Beers are fenomenal and I tried a cocktail with mezcal instead of tequila without sugar and they accommodated our requests!

Came here for a girls weekend trip. There were 12 of us so we needed somewhere that could accommodate us. That part was superb ; great service that night. Drinks were good. Their old fashioned hit the mark and the other ladies had the mermaid tail which was a hit. Food was mixed reviews. Elote Corn rib was a hit. Yum! So was the crab bisque. Calamari was flavorful. Less impressive was the coconut curry although the smoked tofu that I ordered with it was on point. I was expecting a more coconut flavor but it was a tad heavy with the slurry. The fish tacos you put it together yourself which is unique presentation. Their seafood Alfredo was on point and a huge portion.

A true must! The atmosphere is fun with a decent wine selection. Gray, our server, was outstanding and truly the nicest (and most authentic) guy ever!

Excellent little gem of a restaurant. Our server Kasia was a wealth of information. The food was excellent as was the service. This is the only restaurant that I have ever noticed and really enjoyed the decorations! Be sure to check out the sharks hanging from the ceiling. The most outstanding dish was the "Butternut squash curry dish". They have amazing fish offerings but this curry dish is a vegan delight done to perfection. Five stars all the way round!

A great way to end our gusty, cool week of windsurfing and sailing in Hatteras. Great service from setting up the reservations through out the meal. Quick, efficient, and hospitable in all the best ways. The food was great and the portions were more than ample. Then came the above-and-beyond customer service. I dropped my wallet and didn't realize until driving back to VA. I got a call from the staff who had found it. They got it in priority mail the same day and I had it in hand in just a couple days! Highly recommend the great food and great folks at Pangea!
