Went here for the first time with my boyfriend on Valentine’s Day. We had Mandie G as our server and she was amazing. So sweet, friendly, kind, hard working, and she truly made our valentines/ first time experience so lovely. Food was SO good. The Brussels sprouts were so good, same with the crème brûlée. Portion sizes were a bit small for the price however I didn’t leave stuffed and felt content. Highly recommend this spot for date night. Parking was a bit odd, but we got there earlier enough to park in a overlay area, immediately were seated with our reservation, and its fancy enough to wear a dress but also wouldn’t be out of place with jeans and a nicer sweatshirt. The Foundry is back with their Buffet! They haven’t replaced everything from the previous menu, but the shrimp and smoked salmon are back… you should check it out for yourselves! We had an unexpected surprise when we arrived for the buffet, only to realize it was a brunch menu only! The value for what we paid was average, but unfortunately one of the three items ordered came out a little overcooked, it still looked nice though :/ If they need to upcharge for certain food items, that would have been better than doing away with a buffet they were known for. Service was fantastic, but you could hear the other diners’ reactions and that made for a disappointed atmosphere. We’ll be back… someday….

There were only bar seating options available but it didn't even matter! I ordered the camembert charcuterie, carrot salad, and creme brulee and it was all great. My friends enjoyed the brussel sprouts, poutine, cheesecake, and another other salad entre. There's something for everyone and it's very well done. I love that there are locally sourced ingredients too. We also happened to be there on a Saturday early evening when they played live music, which was a bonus. This is a bit pricey, but totally worth it for a nice dinner out!

10/10 food - the gnocchi was delicious, and the bacon bourbon whisky drink was amazing. It came out smokin! Yes that is a slice of bacon on the top. I am a bacon and whisky snob, as well as very particular about pasta/gnocchi/potatoes, and it was all delicious.
