The food is absolutely delicious: the meats are so well cooked and flavored and are perfectly tender. The rice was also lovely, a perfect blend of spices and robust flavors. Our waiter was very kind and timely despite being the only one waiting the whole restaurant. Highly recommend a stop here. We live over an hour away and already planning our next trip back with friends. Annddddd they're halal!
Really interesting experience. I've never tried Afghani food before can't say I'm the biggest fan of the "salad". It's basically just minced marinated, cucumbers, onions, red peppers and tomatoes. My wife liked it though. We got the combo number one and the Afghani meatballs. Beef and chicken kabobs. All were really good. Service was excellent
Excellent middle eastern type food. The dishes have lots of flavor and the menu is varied to give you choices I had the Afghani Meatballs and the others had various kabobs. The service was excellent. My only quibble is that it is a bit pricey for this type of cuisine, but at the end of the day, it was very enjoyable Definitely give this place a try
We tried Rumi in Manchester. It was delicious! Amongst the 5 of us, we had a good sampling of the menu: Beef Samosa and Mantu appetizers. Really yummy! Barg (beef) and Chicken Kabab, really juicy and tender, flavorful. Afghani meatballs, a little spice, tasty. Lamb Shank. This seemed to be the hero of the table. The rice with carrot and raisin was great. It came with a salad and a naan-like bread. Service was wonderful. They answered a lot of menu questions, kept coming to check on us etc. I recommend!
Amazing experience! The kebabs were tender, juicy, and full of flavor. We also tried the dessert and tea, and they were delicious — the perfect way to finish the meal. The place is clean, cozy, and the staff is very kind and welcoming. If you want great Afghan food, this is definitely the spot. Highly recommended, and we will be back again! 🙌🍢🍮☕
