The Farmhouse Stay

What a delightful place! It is well furnished with all of the necessities and modern upgrades, but with a vintage farm house persona - It felt just like going to a beloved relatives home - for me, it took me back to visiting my Great Aunt's house when I was a kid. And beside the unique and comfortable decor, just a few yards out the back door is a beautifully cared for farm yard with horses, chickens and cats. Everything was perfect!

This special place is a true gem! The minute you walk on the property you step back in time to your grandparents place and feel the warmth and love the minute you open the front door. Wendy is a Godsend and opened up her calendar at Christmas this year for us to visit my husbands mom who is dealing with cancer. We wanted a place close to her that was cozy and not in a hotel. It was perfect! We had the whole house to ourselves and got to celebrate Christmas with her and family. The antiques throughout the home are very well decorated. The farmhouse feel with horses, front porch, and sweet kitty cats outside were so welcoming. The classic windows over the farmhouse sink with Christmas music playing in the background and coffee brewing made me feel like my grandmother was making breakfast and

Perfect location for a quiet weekend getaway. We had three adults and two teens, and everyone had their own bed with room for more. The house is very clean, well maintained, and has all the supplies you might need during your stay. We had the pleasure of meeting Wendy, the owner, and she gave us the behind the scenes tour of the barn and property. Everything about this weekend was perfect, and we will definitely be back!

We had a group of 5 women traveling from Western KY to the farmhouse. It was like walking into my grandmas house...A nostalgic step back into time. This cozy little place is perfect for friends to hang out or a family gathering. Wendy was an excellent hostess and even stopped in to play some ridiculously fun games one evening! Everything from pizza pans to wine glasses to personal items were furnished for your use. The beds were cozy and clean. Antique shopping was great!! We definitely will be back to visit Wendy soon! Probably with a little larger group next time so we may have to book 2 houses!

We visit the farmhouse annually during the holidays to visit friends and family in the South Bend and SW Michigan area. Wendy is always so accommodating and the personal touches with the Christmas decorations make it so special and just like Christmas at home. This is truly our home away from home. Thank you, Wendy.
