C'est La Vie Cakes

Courtney was such a pleasure to work with. Our cutting cake for our wedding turned out exactly how we wanted it to look and taste. The sheet cakes for the guests were super tasty. There was a winter storm the day of our wedding, so we had a ton of leftover cake that we took to work the next day. Everyone from the wedding guest to our coworkers that sampled the cakes the next day had top reviews on the flavors of all the cakes. Thank you for helping make our wedding vision come together:)

My husband and I used C'est La Vie Cakes for our wedding this July. While Courtney was wonderful to work with, the cake she delivered ultimately looked nothing like the inspiration photos we had sent and was a huge disappointment to my husband and I. I don't know what happened. At no point were we told that the decorations would come out looking significantly different than the inspiration photos so that we could determine if we wanted to use a different style or switch bakeries. If you want anything beyond a simple, white cake, I would NOT recommend using C'est La Vie Cakes for your wedding cake.

We hired C'est La Vie Cakes for our wedding last weekend in Buchanan, MI! We can't say enough good things about the owner and her amazing business! When she accommodated us THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS for a tasting, Courtney provided us with a warm welcome, a HUGE spread of many different desserts/ flavor combos and lots of laughs! We went with a two tier cake and dessert bar. Our cake flavor was her Champagne & Raspberry and oh my, was it divine! But her dessert display, absolutely blew everyone away! Courtney at C'est La Vie is an artist! I gave her a few inspiration photos for what I wanted our wedding cake to look like, and her creation was absolutely stunning! It was a 3-tier cake with a solid burgundy base, the middle tier was a solid mauve color and the top was a marbled design! Our cake and cupcakes were absolutely delicious and we got so many compliments throughout the night! Not a slice or cupcake was left in sight by the end of the reception! Thank you so much for creating the most beautiful cake a girl could ask for!
