The Farmer's Daughter

Visited on a Monday during lunch time. Restaurant was pretty busy and was able to get a table quickly upon arriving. Parking is available all around the building. The service and food were excellent! We ordered a salad, eggs and beets, 10oz Ribeye, Fried Chicken, and sweet potato fries. We ended up grabbing two cinnamon rolls to go! Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Awesome place!! First time going and will keep coming. Has the meatloaf and chicken fried chicken. Sooo good!! Lov3e the broccoli salad. Big portions. The sweet tea was fresh brewed and delicious.! This will be a regular stop for us.

This place poses as a farm to table restaurant. There's nothing organic about this place. From cliche hobby lobby decor to bagged frozen goods served up as if it were home cooked. My daughter and I stopped in after a quick search on Google before making our way home (2.5hrs north) and we were disappointed to say the least. The name, the style, the menu all looked inviting but unfortunately the new norm is processed junk labeled as healthy.

Open, airy, with a modern farmhouse look, the easy-going nature and smells of good food hit you as you enter. We were seated at a nice table in the middle of the large dining room. The waitresses were hustling the entire time. Coffee was decent, and the food was great - the wife had the farmer's breakfast, eggs perfectly over easy, and my rise and shine was very good - eggs perfect sunny-side-up and the home fries had just the right amount of crisp to them. A good, hearty breakfast, bottomless coffee, and great service.

Newbies to this restaurant and anytime that we are back in the Urbana area we will be sure to stop in! Everything was excellent including the service! My husband and I had the beef n noodles and I had the stuffed green pepper soup as one of my sides. Atmosphere was warm & welcoming. The staff were very friendly. Our server was fantastic. Our meals came out hot, big portions and were delicious. Kudos!
