Champaign County Library

The staff is very welcoming and helpful. My Verizon hotspot didn't work well inside the reserved rooms, and I didn't test out the open WiFi, but it did surprisingly provide a good working environment overall. Plenty of parking available.

I just LOVE the way libraries smell!! They are such wonderful places to be able to enjoy. Our Champaign County Library is really nice. It is impressive how neat and colorful the areas are. The places for you to relax are comfortable. There are plenty of private study rooms. Lots of books to explore. Very nice!!

I love my local library. The selection of books, DVDs, and CDs is nice and the people working there are always friendly and helpful. You can even request a book, DVD, or cd. I like to check out their little bulletins when I first walk in. They also have computers and printers there that you can use. I found out today that they are having a book sale coming up May 5, 6, and 7th. Gotta check it out ! 🤓

The library has such going on. Right now they have a Lego display and the Friends of the Library are getting ready for their big book sale. They have a maker room, computers you can use, and lots of activities for all ages.

I visited the library with my girls today and was reminded how wonderful the staff is. While I don’t expect anyone to supervise my children, I appreciated seeing an employee kindly keeping an eye out—it put me at ease. Enough to also allow me to look around. This library feels safe and welcoming, a place where I can browse in peace while my kids enjoy the toys or look through books of their own.
