The Dewey Post

Went in mid-September around 9 AM. No wait to be seated (indoors). Fantastic, prompt service. Every thing we ordered was fresh and delicious. Drinks included: coffee, chocolate milk, peach-mango smoothie, cappuccino with an extra shot of espresso. Food included: apple pie french toast with vanilla ice cream, She Bowl, Post Lox, chocolate chip waffles, bacon, home fries, and caprese avocado toast. Large portions! So good! Highly recommend. Will definitely come again if ever in Dewey Beach!

This place is a MUST GO for breakfast. Despite being very busy, our food and drinks came out in a very timely manner. The food and drinks were also EXCELLENT and very filling. We are here for a short vacation but I will for sure be coming back again this trip and in future trips as well. Very friendly service and very charming place to grab a bite or a drink. I would give this place 7/5 if I could.

Our vacation isn't complete without a stop at The Dewey Post. 🇺🇸 The food is, without a doubt, a 5-star experience every time. I could eat their sausage gravy and biscuits all day! 😋 But the real highlight for us is how dog-friendly they are. Our dog, Dakota, felt like a celebrity on the patio, and we love that we don't have to leave him behind. This is the cutest little place in Dewey Beach for breakfast. The food is always amazing. As you can see I didn’t leave anything behind on the Waffle Board. Yum! I can’t say enough good things about the chef. The service is superb. The entire staff always has a smile on their face and makes you feel very welcome to be there. It is locally owned and operated by an amazing husband and wife duo. And while it is a small restaurant, the atmosphere is perfect for the breakfast vibe. The decor is spot on for posting up here at Brunch time. Be willing to try everything they offer. I have yet to have a less than perfect meal there. Best scrambled eggs in Dewey!! Cool spot with lots of brunch items. Basic breakfast items prepared in upscale and flavorful ways. Waffles, bagels and lox. Eggs. Fresh biscuits, great baked goods. All around a great spot.
