Fifer's Farm Kitchen - Dewey Beach

On a recent road trip, we stopped at Fifers Farm Store bc my husband thought it looked quaint & old fashioned. It’s was great! We got breakfast to go, some wonderful orange juice & snacks for later. We’ll definitely stop in again next time we’re in Dewey.

When in town, we stop every day for sandwiches to pack for lunch. The Spicy Blue Hen is my favorite, followed closely by the Power Chicken Salad. My husband loves the Gobbler. The fresh cut cantaloupe is perfect for breakfast, though they also offer delicious breakfast sandwiches. Couldn't resist the blueberry cornbread on my last visit, and it was amazing! Friendly people. Local gem.

Part farmers market, part deli and part convenience store. On certain items you will pay high convenience store prices. Nice variety of produce. I haven’t tried a sandwich so I can’t comment on it. Nice staff.

Such a cool little market with fresh vegetables and fruits, excellent sandwiches, and everything else you need to stock the fridge for your vacation. Get the apple cider doughnuts!

Not rating the atmosphere because this is a market that sells fresh produce and prepared foods to go. The in-season produce is really the reason to come here, especially the corn, peaches, blueberries, and tomatoes. The prepared foods (egg salad, potato salad, macaroni, salad, etc. ) are OK -probably similar to the same thing you would get in any other market. There are also cute beach-theme shaped sugar cookies and Old Bay popcorn and other local snacks. Everyone who works here is very friendly.
